“Tegeta Truck and Bus” became a general sponsor of “The National Federation of the Strongest Men of Georgia”.

A memorandum of cooperation was signed between “Tegeta Truck and Bus” and “The National Federation of the Strongest Men and Highlanders’ Games of Georgia” – so called “Strongmen”.

Within the framework of the cooperation, “Tegeta Truck and Bus” becomes a sponsor and supporter of the “Strongmen”. In addition to financial aid, “Tegeta Truck and Bus” will be involved into arrangement of sports achievement and records at the Federation.

There are a lot of exciting and extreme events that await the fans. They include the open European Truck-Pull championship (Power extreme) and setting the world record. The open European Truck-Pull Championship is planned to be held on Sunday, July 18 at 06.00 p.m. in the courtyard of Georgia Technical University. The world record is going to be set as an outcome of nine truck-pull July 19 at 09.00 a.m. at Hualing centre.

July 18 июля at 06.00 p.m. we invite the fans for extreme shows and our supporters to Saakadze Square, the courtyard of Georgia Technical University. The European Championship will be held in a few categories. Athletes from different countries will compete in truck tug of war, truck-pull, truck-drag, and truck-push. Five athletes will be competing from Georgian National team. So we expect you to come. Let us celebrate together setting the new world record and victory”.  

The European Championship will be held in two weight categories: 105 kg and heavy weight. A joint 9-member team of Georgia and Europe will try to break the world record. They will be confronted with 9 MAN trucks.
